About Rebekka:
I have interpreted professionally since 1998. My early training was in Anchorage, AK. I graduated from the American Sign Language and Interpreting School of Seattle, WA. I continue to study through the Bilingual Mediation Center based out of College Park, MD. I have lived and interpreted full time in AK, WA, PA and now, since 2003 in the metro MD/VA/DC area. My interpreting experience includes government and private business, post secondary education, medical, social, public events, conferences, trainings, legal meetings, scientific and technical settings. In addition, my involvement with the Deaf-Blind community started in 1996 and I continue to work within this diverse and specialized community.
