About Rebekka:
I have interpreted professionally since 1998. My early training was in Anchorage, AK. I graduated from the American Sign Language and Interpreting School of Seattle, WA. After moving back east, I studied with the Bilingual Mediation Center based out of College Park, MD for 10 years. I have lived and interpreted full time in AK, WA, PA and now, since 2003 in the metro MD/VA/DC area. My interpreting experience includes mental health, government and private business, post secondary education, medical, social, public events, conferences, trainings, legal meetings, scientific and technical settings. In addition, my involvement with the DeafBlind community started in 1996 and I continue to work within this diverse and specialized community.
